We work to maintain a positive relationship with U.S. National Forest Service, Red River Gorge community leaders, and individual landowners to ensure public access to climbing for ALL.
As responsible climbers it’s our job to protect and conserve the land that gives us so much. We are stewards striving to build sustainable infrastructure and advocates of LNT ethics to minimize impact on this precious land.
From bringing new climbers together for education on climbing stewardship, to rallying folks for a trail day, to taking some time to celebrate at Rocktoberfest, we want to secure climbing for generations to come. From the beginning, we've brought the climbing community together.
"IF WE OWN IT, THEY CAN'T CLOSE IT." The RRGCC owns and maintains over 1,100 acres in the Red River Gorge. We work tirelessly to ensure climbing through the region is open and accessible to climbers.
